Hotel Serras Collection Sevilla opens: five-star grand luxury on the legacy of Aníbal González and José Espiau

Hotel Serras Collection Sevilla opens its doors and brings back to life an architectural ensemble of immense historic value. The complex occupies the former residence of the Marquis of Villamarta (Álvaro Dávila) and the adjoining apartment building, designed between 1915 and 1920 by two of the most distinguished figures of Andalusian regionalist architecture: Aníbal González Álvarez-Ossorio and José Espiau y Muñoz.

EDDEA has transformed this protected heritage into a contemporary five-star grand luxury hotel.

Three buildings turned into a single piece

The team highlights the enormous technical and compositional complexity of integrating and consolidating three buildings with such distinctive structures, floor heights and architectural identities, while preserving the ornamental and heritage essence of their original creators.

The team responsible for the project comprised Jacobo Otero, Luis Ybarra Gutiérrez, José María de Cárdenas, Yesica Belaustegui González, Diego Román and Miguel Guerrero, who express their immense pride at completing this milestone for the city.

Fismuler lands in Seville

Among its major gastronomic attractions, the hotel’s ground floor is home to the acclaimed restaurant Fismuler, which arrives in Seville for the first time after resounding success in cities such as Madrid and Barcelona.
