A community organised around a large central garden
This project began with an analysis of its surroundings, where a cluster of new residential developments is raising high expectations for quality homes, design and services. These complexes generally tend towards homes grouped in perimeter blocks with communal areas inside.
On this plot, EDDEA chose to turn the shared communal area into a green axis that complements it, and proposed the design of a complete garden. This idea led to a building with a strong presence that at the same time engages with its surroundings, in which arcades on the most accessible side open the inner garden to the outside.
The façade is designed to be dynamic, using ceramic pieces that give it vibrancy. The material enriches the building through the many nuances it takes on as the sunlight changes.
The complex comprises 100 homes built in two blocks of 28 and 72 respectively. They have 2, 3 and 4 bedrooms and include penthouses with terraces of up to 60 square metres and ground-floor homes with gardens of up to 170 square metres. Shared facilities include an outdoor pool, a padel court, a children's play area and green spaces.
