“Who is thinking about the Seville of the next 20 years?”: De Cárdenas opens the ISA series
February 3, 2014

Iniciativa Sevilla Abierta organised the series “Who is thinking about the Seville of the next 20 years?” at La Fundición: nine debate sessions on the future of the city.
José María de Cárdenas took part in the first session, alongside José Domínguez Abascal, secretary general of Abengoa. He was introduced as managing partner of EDDEA and the driving force behind the Citythinking initiative.
The debate revolved around what it would take to turn Seville into a prosperous, advanced society – a question that, more than a decade later, still runs through the studio’s work on the city’s major urban developments.
