The first 1:1 samples of Casa Forestier’s skin are being tested on site

A couple of months ago we were testing the various waves and joints designed for the façade of Casa Forestier in our offices; now the first pieces of the chosen ventilated façade are being tested on site.
The vertical terracotta panels, measuring 250 × 40 cm, have been installed on the most sun-exposed planes to analyse their thermal and visual behaviour: sheen, nuances and changes in tone depending on the position of the sun and the intensity of the light.
Samples of the metal elements that will resolve the slab edges and the jambs of the openings are also being tested, in order to choose the best combination of tones and sheens between the two materials.
