PORTUS magazine publishes the methodology of the Port of Seville Sustainable Development Plan

PORTUS magazine, published by the international association RETE, devoted a technical article in its issue 42 to the methodology of the Integrated Sustainable Development Plan for the Port of Seville (Plan de Desarrollo Sostenible Integrado del Puerto de Sevilla) in its urban and territorial setting.
The article is signed by the EDDEA team led by José María de Cárdenas as plan director, with Javier Olmedo Granados, Sergio Rodríguez Estévez and Cristina Salazar Ramírez, among others.
Ten axes and three areas
The article sets out the work carried out since 2014: ten strategic axes and three homogeneous areas of intervention, Delicias, Batán and Tablada, with one stated aim: “to transform the Port of Seville into an engine of economic and social development”.
It is the document that lays the methodological foundations on which the masterplan for the Port Urban District (Distrito Urbano Portuario) would later be built.
