The Casa Forestier façade: terracotta panels tested at 1:1 scale

Vía Célere is probably the developer most committed to improving processes and industrialising residential construction in Spain, and the façade of Casa Forestier, its flagship development in Seville, was the opportunity to test new solutions.

We proposed a ventilated façade of vertical terracotta panels measuring 250 × 40 cm. In February we travelled to Zurich with Dragados to visit several buildings where these pieces had been used.

After analysing the possible joints in 1:1 expanded polystyrene mock-ups, we have settled the texture, colour and joints between panels (option C2). Working with clients and contractors so committed to innovation and technology is a great opportunity for EDDEA, and an honour to have their trust.
