EDDEA designs Oceana Garden, a new Metrovacesa residential scheme on Estepona’s ‘golden mile’

Cutting-edge, sustainable architecture combined with the benefits of generous communal areas defines EDDEA’s design for the Oceana Garden I residential scheme, a development by Metrovacesa on the ‘golden mile’ of Estepona, on the Costa del Sol. The company will invest 14 million euros in the complex, which has just gone on sale.
Oceana Gardens I is a development of 52 multi-family homes with two and three bedrooms, set in an exceptional landscape. Its cutting-edge architecture is complemented by communal amenities including an outdoor pool, a coworking area, a fully equipped gym, two amateur pétanque courts, a cycle path and access to the Club House, exclusively for residents.
The complex will have an energy rating in line with sustainability commitments, taking into account aspects such as the building’s geometry, the arrangement of windows on the façade and the planned thermal insulation system, which together reduce heat loss. The homes will enjoy generous south-west-facing terraces.
As EDDEA partner and founder Luis Ybarra stresses, the scheme has been designed “to create a new lifestyle, combining quality finishes and generous interior and exterior spaces, while construction will follow sustainability and efficiency criteria, reducing CO2 emissions and energy consumption”.
The Estepona location on the Costa del Sol has shopping areas nearby, lies just a few kilometres from Puerto Banús and enjoys good motorway connections – a setting that complements the quality of Oceana Gardens I.
Commitment to Málaga
With the launch of this new project, Metrovacesa – a benchmark Spanish property developer with more than a hundred years of history – further expands its residential footprint in the Málaga market, where it has 22 developments totalling 1,235 homes.
The province of Málaga is a clear priority in the company’s business plan. All Metrovacesa’s developments in the province are tailored to the type of buyer that predominates in the area and to their preferences when choosing a home. These buyers are mainly international, looking for a second home or an investment to generate rental income.
