Divisare and ArchDaily publish EDDEA’s 36-home scheme in Castilleja de Guzmán

In April 2012 Divisare published the 36-home residential scheme designed by EDDEA in Castilleja de Guzmán (Seville), completed in 2011, with photographs by Fernando Alda. The feature records a built volume of 16,500 cubic metres and a budget of close to €10.4 million.

Topography as design material

The project’s strategy is to shape the site’s topography to create semi-open courtyards that organise the whole scheme, frame the views and ensure cross-ventilation of the homes without sacrificing privacy.

Developed by Galia Grupo Inmobiliario, the project is signed by José María de Cárdenas, Ignacio Laguillo Díaz and Harald Schönegger. In March 2018 ArchDaily also gave it its own feature: 36 Residential Units / EDDEA Arquitectura y Urbanismo.
