Citythinking joins AIVP, the international network of port cities

Citythinking joined AIVP, the worldwide network of port cities, which announced its membership under the title “Citythinking, helping organisations to replicate good cities”.

The association’s note highlighted the commission occupying the team at the time: “Citythinking leads the Technical Office set up by the Port Authority of Seville to manage the design and development of the new Port Urban District (Distrito Urbano Portuario)” – two kilometres of port frontage on the Guadalquivir.

Joining the network, the studio explains, “represents an opportunity to exchange knowledge and experience” with ports around the world facing similar processes. Five years later, the same network would also provide the framework for the European workshop on river port cities held in Seville.
