CITYPLAIN, finalist in the REBUILD 2022 Advanced Architecture Awards

CITYPLAIN, the platform developed by Citythinking, was selected as a finalist in the Advanced Architecture Awards 2022 at the REBUILD fair, in the digitalisation and technology investment category.

The jury described it as “a cloud-based computational platform for configuring residential product while integrating sustainability indicators”. The category award ultimately went to the University of Castilla-La Mancha.

The shortlisting places the tool within the debate on the digitalisation of the sector, an area EDDEA has been working on for years: bringing design decisions forward to the early stages and linking them directly to industrial production.
