Italian magazine Arketipo features the Sierra de Cazorla hospital

The Italian magazine Arketipo, one of Italy’s leading technical journals, has published an article by Federica Gasparetto on the Sierra de Cazorla high-resolution hospital (Jaén), designed by EDDEA.
The article focuses on how the building is set into the site, using a natural hollow in the terrain to settle into the hillside and reduce its presence in the protected landscape around it, while also resolving the separation of entrances and circulation that a healthcare facility requires.
The publication adds to the recognition the project received at the AIT Awards 2020 and confirms the international reach of the studio’s healthcare work.
