A Coruña Marítima: EDDEA competes alongside the world’s most prestigious architecture firms

EDDEA is part of UTE 1, the joint venture selected to compete for A Coruña Marítima, the project that will transform A Coruña’s port waterfront and mark a turning point in the relationship between port and city.

The tender brought together 78 firms from 9 countries in 14 joint ventures, including some of the most prominent names in international architecture and engineering: IDOM, RSHP Architects (Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners), BIG, Zaha Hadid, TYPSA and Junquera Arquitectos, among others.

EDDEA joins this multidisciplinary team alongside Cruz y Ortiz Arquitectos, Ghenova Ingeniería, Proyfe, Arquitectura Agronomía and Consultora Alomon, contributing our experience in urban development and in the management of highly complex projects.

A Coruña Marítima proposes the comprehensive regeneration of the coastal edge, the recovery of disused port spaces, the creation of new public areas and the urban integration of existing infrastructure. It is a metropolitan-scale project that will put A Coruña on the map of Europe’s great port transformations.
